CHISATO
IDE

​Chisato Ide was born in Japan and began her training at the age of five. She continued her dance education at Arts Umbrella in Canada and completed her degree with an intensive course at the Nederlands Dans Theater. She gained stage experience with the Arts Umbrella Dance Company before joining Ballet BC under the direction of Emily Molnar. In 2013, she joined Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal. In 2019, she joined the Staatstheater Nürnberg under the direction of Goyo Montero. Since 2022, she is a member of the Staatstheater Hannover. She performed diverse repertoire across ballet, neoclassical and contemporary styles including works by renowned choreographers such as Marco Goecke, Mats Ek, Stephan Thoss, Jirí Kylián, Christian Spuck, Ohad Naharin, Edward Clug, and Marcos Morau.
